Overview
A Plus Expediting & Logistics Inc. is looking for experienced box/straight truck drivers with a clean operator’s license, DOT medical card, and a minimum of 2 years of similar delivery/driving experience. Starting pay is $17.00 with an opportunity for a pay increase after first 60days. All driver positions are full-time. Drivers deliver products to a wide variety of customers in the region (ALL of OH, parts of IN, KY, etc.). Drivers can expect to be home daily and off most weekends! Assigned truck with no slip seating!

Essential Duties:

  • Safely operate NON CDL straight truck on assigned routes
  • Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Logging on paper (as needed)
  • Obey all traffic, hours of service, and DOT regulations
  • Distribute and secure freight to ensure legal weight distribution
  • Lift gate and pallet jack unloading (as needed)
  • Must be available up to 14 hours per day, Monday – Friday.
  • Provide quality customer service

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred or GED accepted
  • Two years’ experience operating a NON CDL straight/box truck
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and DOT physical
  • Clean MVR
  • Ability to read and complete various forms and records as required

Physical Demands:

  • Walking, bending, entering/exiting cab and/or box, operating lift gate and pallet jack, using trailer dolly legs(up to 75lbs.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
