Overview
A Plus Expediting & Logistics Inc. is looking for experienced semi drivers with a CDL class A license and a minimum of three years driving experience. All driver positions are full-time.Drivers deliver products to a wide variety of customers in the region (Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, Lexington/Louisville, etc.). Major responsibilities for drivers are loading/unloading/shifting product (as needed), ELD/PAPER logging, and complying with all federal/state driving/HOS regulations, safely operating vehicle, and providing excellent customer service. Home daily. Assigned truck with no slip seating!!

Responsibilities

– Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.

– Operate trucks and heavy equipment efficiently and safely
– Transport goods over short or long distances
– Change/adjust equipment to ensure legal scale weight
– Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
– Maintain accurate driving logs and records

Experience/Qualifications:
– Prior experience in driving manual transmission vehicles
– Clean BAT/Drug pre-employment screen and carry a minimum of 1YR DOT/Med Cert.
– Ability to load and unload cargo as needed
– Proficient in safe driving practices and defensive driving techniques

Physical Demands Required: Walking, bending, entering/exiting cab and or/trailer, adjusting axles, lifting(up to 75 lbs,)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
