Overview
A Plus Expediting & Logistics Inc. is looking for experienced small box truck drivers with a clean operator’s license, DOT medical card, and a minimum of 2 years delivery driving/expediting experience. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour with an opportunity for $1.00 raise after 60 day review by manager.

All driver positions are full-time. Drivers deliver products to a wide variety of customers in the region (Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, etc.). Major responsibilities for drivers are safe driving, loading and unloading product (as needed), paper logging (as needed), complying with all federal/state driving/HOS regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Drivers are home daily and off most weekends. Assigned truck with no slip seating!

Duties:

  • Safely operate a small box truck.
  • Load and unload cargo as needed
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating effectively with clients.
  • Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Available UP TO 14 hours a day Monday – Friday, but typical shifts are 8-9 hrs.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred or GED accepted
  • Two years operating a box truck for business to business deliveries
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Clean MVR
  • Product delivery experience

Physical Demands:

  • Walking, bending, entering/exiting cab and or box, lifting up to 75 lbs.
